2 Corinthians 5:10 - 'For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.'
It is embarrassing to do a job poorly and then to have your work examined. Scripture warns us that each one of us will appear before the judgment seat of Christ. Therefore, we must strive to serve the Lord with all diligence, so we do not face shame when our labors are ultimately evaluated.

Scripture doesn't say the things we fear come from God. It also doesn't say that God will keep these things from us. The way we react to them is what God addresses. We should trust His authority over everything that comes our way. Our belief in and knowledge of His provision in times of strife, and of His deliverance from difficult and stressful situations, are what should keep fear at bay.
